Actor Analysis
Actor Analysis involves looking at the chief actors or individuals/groups affected by the resolution. For instance if the debate was about education, the actors could be students, teachers, and society; you might also use teachers, school administration, or employers, but don't have too many groups – 2 to 4 is usually best. It can be a good way of expanding an argument that only has one reason, but it is also useful in other situations.
